Welcome,
"I just want to belong to a family of believers where I feel connected" can often be heard from people checking out our church family. "She said she left because she doesn’t love me anymore," are the words we often hear about spouses breaking up. Or teens saying to their parents, "You won’t let me do anything and I hate you!" Statements like these are the reason that in 2010 Cheyenne Hills is putting our focus on strengthening the Family.
This year’s mantra is titled, "Family Factor", and we are praying, teaching, and focusing on the family. We started 2010 with a financial management class and a marriage seminar and throughout the year will be visiting more themes that concern the family.
Our prayer initiative for Cheyenne families is simply this, "Pray in such a way that everyone knows the next thing that happens in the family had to come from God." We believe God wants to move, change and heal the family.
I am thrilled that you have taken time to visit us and purposefully take time to learn more about our church family. I pray that you and your family will continue to join us for weekends and experience the grace and love that so many have told us they feel when they walk though the doors at Cheyenne Hills.
